The Synergy Fryette Deliverance Preamp Module offers guitarists the core sound and functionality of the Fryette Deliverance amplifier in a modular format. This module retains the essential characteristics that have made the Deliverance a popular choice among players seeking straightforward operation and a wide range of high-gain tones. A key feature is its GAIN I/GAIN II structure, which allows for precise control over the gain stages, enabling users to dial in clean tones, thick overdrive, dynamic crunch, and high-gain distortion. These tonal variations are also responsive to adjustments in the guitar's volume control, providing further dynamic flexibility.
The module incorporates the proprietary Depth and Presence controls from the Deliverance amplifier, allowing for detailed shaping of the low-end and high-end frequencies. These controls can be configured to affect only the red channel or both channels, adding to the module's adaptability. Furthermore, the Series II feature set of the Deliverance amplifier has been included, expanding the module's capabilities.
To ensure authentic tone and feel, the Deliverance module automatically selects between two cathode profiles, optimising the tonal balance for each channel mode. This design choice aims to replicate the sonic characteristics that the Fryette Deliverance amplifier is known for.
Developed in collaboration with Steven Fryette, the designer of the original Deliverance amplifier, this Synergy module provides a means to integrate these sought-after high-gain tones into a modular amplifier system. The all-tube design is suitable for various applications, including direct recording, situations requiring lower stage volumes, and compact guitar rigs. The Synergy Fryette Deliverance Preamp Module presents a practical and cost-effective solution for guitarists looking to access a broad spectrum of high-gain sounds and considerable tonal control within their existing setup.
