Another very high end, and highly unusual guitar from Taylor guitars here, this one is one of their revamped 9 series, a 914ce to be exact. This one differs from the pack from a Tobacco Sunburst finish on the top.
The finish on the 8 and 9 series Taylors are so thin that getting a burst effect to work correctly on these guitars is tough even for Taylors expertise, so these finishes are made in very small numbers to keep up the quality control, so not only is this guitar probably the finest standard run guitar that money can buy from anyone, but nice an collectable to boot.
This guitar is top quality solid Rosewood back and sides, and A Solid spruce top. Another super nice feature on the 9 series is the Ebony armrest, which is comfy to play, as well as prevents your elbow resting on the top which prevents dampening the top vibrating too. Some lovely Koa/Paua/Koa trim set the visuals off beautifully.
The neck is solid tropical mahogany too, and with a neck width of 1-3/4" it's comfortable to play regardless of your preferred style.
