The 2018 J-15 is a Gibson Montana modern classic. Handcrafted using the same techniques and in the same facility as the legendary J-200's and J-45's, the J-15 is a great edition to the Gibson roster.
With a Sitka Spruce top on top of a beautiful Walnut body, this guitar is stunningly resonant and has great natural sustain. The Walnut offers a rich tonal variation that is great for full bodied strumming and more subtle finger style playing.
A Maple neck boasts a Walnut fingerboard, with a 12" radius, 24.75” scale length and SlimTaper profile it’s comfortable and familiar. With mother of pearl dot inlays it retains a classic vibe and offers a touch of vintage Gibson appeal.
With an LR Baggs Element pickup system as standard you can plug in and play anywhere. With great clarity and note definition the Element is one of the best acoustic preamp systems around, a perfect match for the J-15.
