The Martin D-28 is perhaps the most important acoustic guitar ever made, with timeless design and a rich tonal quality, it's easy to see why pre-war models can sell for upwards of £100,000. The Martin Authentic Series offers the best take on a vintage D-28 that money can buy. It is hands down the best version on the market!
This D-28 is inspired by the highly revered 1937 model which featured forward shifted, hand scalloped bracing and an Adirondack Spruce soundboard. True to the original design it also features Solid Madagascar Rosewood back and sides for a truly impressive natural tone.
The Solid Mahogany neck boasts a 25.4" scale length, 16" radius and a sweet Ebony fingerboard, it's really comfortable underhand and it's equally suited to both delicate finger style and big chiming chords.
The Martin D-28 is a guitar with timeless appeal, and the Authentic series '37 is one of the finest you will ever see.
