Guild USA F-512 Maple Blonde Jumbo | 12-String - Natural

Guild's USA guitars are stunning instruments in both appearance and tone. They are made in Southern California using original moulds and equipment from Guild's early days and stand amongst some of the finest acoustics in the world.

The F-512 Maple Blonde brings the quality that always comes with Guild's USA models. If you have ever played one of Guild's jumbo-sized models, you'll know how awesome they are.  They have an impressive thump to the bass and a crispness to the treble.  If you prefer things on the more-vintage side, once the strings wear in a little the tone becomes deader and they have so much vibe to them. This particular jumbo is built with solid spruce for the top and beautifully flamed maple for the back and sides.  The construction of the arched back is very strong to eliminate the need for back bracing which the top features scalloped Adirondack spruce X-bracing.  It's a fantastic combination and these guitars are a true pleasure to play.

The look of the guitar is gorgeous, with an ebony fingerboard having a beautifully dark appearance that really makes the inlays shine out.  Both the headstock and fingerboard are bound, the machine heads are gold and the finish is a hand-applied gloss nitrocellulose. This Guild really does look and sound the part - it's a truly fantastic jumbo and the arch press used is the same one that Guild have used since 1985!

The nut width on this guitar is 48mm and the neck is a C-shape, offering a very comfortable feel for most players - not too big and not too small. The saddle and nut are made of bone which allow excellent energy transference between the strings and the wood and the guitar comes complete with a deluxe humidified wooden hard case.
