This guitar is an all-solid mahogany build; something Guild are well known for. An all-solid mahogany construction brings an enhanced mid-range charm and mellowness to the instrument, without taking away its power.
Being a dreadnought makes the guitar a great choice for players looking for volume and fullness, particularly whilst strumming. There's a reason that most bluegrass guitarists choose to use a dreadnought during their jam sessions; it cuts through the fiddles, mandolins, banjos and other such competition! The nut width on this guitar is 48mm and the neck is a C-shape, offering a very comfortable feel for most players - not too big and not too small. The saddle and nut are made of bone which allow excellent energy transference between the strings and the wood.
This is a great sounding, well-made instrument that offers years of Guild's expertise and design innovation. It comes complete with a high-quality padded case for safe storage and transportation.
