The Fender Custom Shop do some pretty special things, and with the Custom Shop Nocaster Thinline they really push the boundaries of Leo Fenders vision.
With the appearance of a vintage guitar this Custom Shop Nocaster Thinline Journeyman Relic model benefits from all the playability and reliability of a brand new one. The lightweight Ash body is finished in a stunning 2 Tone Sunburst, period correct; this finish features a truly authentic relic ageing. Based around a '51 Nocaster body, this thinline body is nicely balanced and super light.
The quartersawn Maple neck features a 9.5" radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. The 57 soft V shape profile, 21 frets and lightly tinted back offer a really organic playing experience.
With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar the Custom Shop Nocaster Thinline needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. With a 51 Nocaster at the bridge and a Twisted Tele at the neck, it boasts a versatile and well balanced selection. This guitar also features a Tone Saver treble Bleed for even greater tonal variation.
