The Fender Custom Shop do some pretty special things, and with the Custom Shop 2020 60s Telecaster Thinline they really push the boundaries of Leo Fenders vision.

The Ash body is finished in a lush Faded Aged Seafood Green Journeyman finish. The Journeyman is a very lightly aged nitro finish; this gives the look and feel of a vintage guitar that has been lovingly cared for over the years. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes.

The AAA Flame Maple neck features a 9.5" radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. The 60 style oval C shape profile, 21 frets, AAA Rosewood fingerboard and medium tinted back offer a really organic playing experience.

With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar the Custom Shop 60s Thinline needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. With a duo of hand wound Loaded 51 single coils, it boasts a versatile and well balanced selection.
