Back in October 2017, John took a trip to the CF Martin factory in Nazareth, Pennsylvania to spec out some of the finest Martin Custom Shop offerings in the world. With access to some of the most mind-blowing selection of tonewoods, you won't find a finer selection of Custom Shop Martin guitars anywhere!
With an incredible highly figured Claro Walnut top, back and sides, this 000-12 Fret offers a really dynamic and rounded tone. Claro Walnut is clear and precise; it's quite similar in tone to Hawaiian Koa. The 12th fret join allows for great access up the neck and a perfectly poised and balanced playing experience.
The Mahogany neck is an absolute dream to play. With a Modified V neck shape, 16" radius, 25.4" scale length and a 1 13/16" nut width, this Martin is supremely comfortable and smooth underhand. The Black Ebony fingerboard is the perfect partner for this neck; beautifully crafted it's a real treat to play.
