The 2019 G-45 is a Gibson modern classic. Designed to bring the magic of Gibson acoustic to a lower price point, this is a great edition to the Gibson roster.
With a Sitka Spruce top on top of a beautiful Walnut body, this guitar is stunningly resonant and has great natural sustain. The Walnut offers a rich tonal variation that is great for full bodied strumming and more subtle finger style playing.
A Utile neck boasts a Richlite fingerboard, with a 16" radius, 24.75” scale length and Advance Response profile it’s comfortable and familiar. Utile is a Mahogany like wood with fantastic tonal qualities. With mother of pearl diamond inlays it retains a classic vibe and offers a touch of vintage Gibson appeal.
With a Fishman Sonitone pickup system as standard you can plug in and play anywhere. With great clarity and note definition the Sonitone is one of the best acoustic preamp systems around, a perfect match for the G-45.
