There is no doubt that the ES-350T is a historic model in the guitar industry. Originally unveiled in 1955 and one of the very first "thinline" models, this iconic guitar quickly became a favourite amongst musicians and left an indelible mark on the music world. Notably, it captured the attention of renowned players such as Chuck Berry, solidifying its status as a game-changer.
After production ceased in 1981, Gibson Custom Shop embarked on a limited edition reissue run in 1992, and we are thrilled to present one of these remarkable pieces in all its glory. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this fully hollowbody gem features exquisite Curly Maple construction for the front, back, and sides, adorned with captivating wood figuring that beautifully reveals itself through the Vintage Sunburst finish. The 3-Piece Maple neck boasts a bound Rosewood fingerboard, complemented by a stunning grain-matched bridge mounting piece.
The gold hardware and intricate detailing elevate the aesthetics of this model to new heights, especially with the inclusion of the ABR-1 bridge and Engraved Wire Loop Trapeze tailpiece. The elegance and class exuded by this guitar are simply unmatched.
This limited run reintroduces the Venetian cutaway and 25 1/2" scale length, coupled with a 1 11/16" nut width, a combination previously unseen on this model. While the original ES-350T debuted with the iconic P-90 pickups in 1955, it wasn't long before Gibson's collaboration with Seth Lover led to the creation of the legendary PAF humbucker pickups. In homage to their timeless legacy, this reissue run proudly features the coveted PAF pickups.
