The Fender Custom Shop do some pretty special things and really push the boundaries of Leo Fenders vision. This Limited P90 Thinline is really is something special
The rich and resonant Alder body is finished in a gorgeous Aged Gold Sparkle finish with front and back parchment binding, it's a real beauty! Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively.
The dark tint 5/4 Quartersawn Maple neck features a 9.50" radius for a classic and familiar feel. The 60 Style Oval "C" neck shape profile is incredibly comfortable and measures at .790" at the 1st fret and .930" at the 12th fret. It also features 21 Jumbo frets and a 25.5" Scale Length. This is one versatile beast of a guitar.
With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar the Custom Shop P90 Thinline needs a pickup pairing that can deliver a stand-out tone. With a Fender hand wound 50-51 Blackguard in the bridge it offers a plethora of vintage inspired tone whilst the Fender Custom P90 in neck gives those classically fat and hot single-coil tones.
This dazzling guitar isn't all looks though, it holds it's own with top quality hardware like Vintage Fender tuners and an RSD J-bridge with Bigsby B-5 tailpiece for a unique tele experience.
