The rich and resonant Ash body is finished in a gorgeous Aged Nocaster Blonde finish, it's a real beauty! Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively.
The 2A Flame Maple neck features a 7.25”-9.5" radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. The 1950 Blackguard neck shape profile is incredibly comfortable and measures at .940" at the 1st fret and .970" at the 12th fret. It also features 21 Medium Vintage frets and a 25.5" Scale Length. This is one versatile beast of a guitar.
With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar the Custom Shop Blackguard Thinline needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele tone. With a pair of Fender hand wound 50-51 Blackguard Pickups it offers a plethera of vintage inspired tone
