The Fender Custom Shop do some pretty special things, and with the Custom Shop 60s Telecaster Thinline they really push the boundaries of Leo Fenders vision.

With the appearance of a vintage guitar this Custom Shop Telecaster Thinline Journeyman model benefits from all the playability and reliability of a brand new one. The lightweight Ash body is finished in a stunning Aged Fiesta Red Journeyman finish. The Journeyman is a very lightly aged nitro finish; this gives the look and feel of a vintage guitar that has been lovingly cared for over the years. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.

The AAA Flame Maple neck features a Rosewood fingerboard, 9.5" radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. The 60 style oval C shape profile, 21 frets and medium tinted back offer a really organic playing experience.

With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar the Custom Shop 60s Thinline needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. With a duo of handwound 51 Nocaster single coils, it boasts a versatile and well balanced selection.
