Constructed with a set-neck design at a comfortable 24.75" scale, the LTD Vulture showcases a three-piece mahogany neck and a luxurious Macassar ebony fingerboard. With 22 extra-jumbo frets and unassuming dot inlays, it exudes simplicity and elegance. A custom vulture inlay at the 12th fret adds a touch of personalisation to this exceptional instrument.
What truly sets the LTD Vulture apart is its heart - the James Hetfield signature EMG JH Het Set active pickups. Designed to capture the clarity and punch of passive pickups while retaining the signature active tone that shaped a generation, these pickups redefine your sonic experience. The JH-N (neck) pickup boasts individual ceramic poles and bobbins with a larger core, delivering enhanced attack, higher output, and a fuller low end in the neck position. Meanwhile, the JH-B (bridge) pickup employs a similar core with steel pole pieces, providing the familiar tight attack with cleaner low-end response compared to traditional EMG 81 pickups.
