When John Mayer, Joe Walsh, Bob Dylan and Mike Campbell choose to take your guitars to the stage, you know you must be doing something very right! Since the crafting of the very first Starplayer in a Hannover basement back in '95, Duesenberg have taken their place amongst guitars elite. Their unique fusion of impeccable construction and '50s art deco flair making them a brand you cant ignore.
The Julia is a twin pickup chambered tone machine. With a solid Mahogany body with a flat Maple top, the Julia is beautifully balanced and really nicely weighted. The Navarik Blue finish is complemented by the White pickguard; this unique aesthetic is super eye catching and offsets the design really well. A Duesenberg Diamond Deluxe Tremolo offers incredible vibrato and tuning stability, this is a thing of beauty, flawless construction and super smooth and precise operation.
The Maple neck boasts an Indian Rosewood fingerboard, D shape profile, 22 jumbo frets and a 12" radius. It's supremely comfortable and offers a great playing experience right up the neck, whether you want to lay down some big chords or tear up the fretboard, the Julia is fully equipped to deliver.
A Duesenberg P90 Domino at the neck and a Split/King dual-coil at the bridge prove to be a knockout pairing. Super dynamic and with incredible clarity they are versatile and offer a great depth of tone. With 2 additional switches, located under the bridge, you get a bridge pickup split and a bridge pickup direct out, this allows you to split the humbuckers and route it directly to the output.
Equipped with a custom hardcase, this is a guitar well worth a serious look!
