With a crisp Sitka Spruce top on a lush East Indian Rosewood back and sides, the Collings D2H delivers depth, warmth and tonal clarity and with Sitka braces you really hear the quality of that incredible top. Perfect as an accompaniment instrument, it is often favoured by bluegrass flatpickers who enjoy the slick response and great projection.
A Honduran Mahogany neck boasts an Ebony fingerboard with a modified V profile, 25.5" scale length and a 14"-26" compound radius, Medium nickel-silver frets and of course the Abalone long diamond & Squares inlays. It is supremely comfortable underhand, it's an absolute joy to play, beautifully well balanced and incredibly high quality.
