This guitar features a Sitka spruce top paired with Honduran mahogany back and sides, providing a rich tonal foundation with warmth, clarity, and dynamic range. The pre-war scalloped X-bracing, also crafted from Sitka spruce, maximises resonance and responsiveness, delivering an impressive projection and sustain. A high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish enhances both the durability and the natural beauty of the wood.
The Honduran mahogany neck features a comfortable modified V profile with a smooth, high-gloss polyester resin finish, offering excellent playability.
