New for 2021 Martin is proud to offer the D-35 David Gilmour Custom Signature Edition. This guitar is a nod to David's treasured D-35, his main recording & writing companion for over four decades. The Gilmour D-35 is a piece of Rock history and now is your chance to pick one up for yourself.
With an incredible Adirondack Spruce Vintage Tone System top you get a really dynamic and vibrant tone. Pair that with the awesome Sinker Mahogany back and sides and you have a tone wood match made in heaven. This Signature D-35 is the first of its kind to ever feature the use of sinker Mahogany, specifically chosen by David for its warm, rich tones and exquisitely beautiful grain, it's visually and tonally stunning. The 14th fret join allows for great access up the neck and a perfectly poised and balanced playing experience. The reverse of the headstock features a super slick headstamp, it's those little features that really make this guitar special
The Sinker Mahogany neck is an absolute dream to play. With a custom signature neck shape, 25.4 scale length and a 1 11/16" nut width, this Martin is supremely comfortable and smooth underhand. The Ebony fingerboard is the perfect partner for this neck; beautifully crafted its a real treat to play.
This David Gilmour D-35 really does capture the magic of the vintage original. These guitars are super limited with there only being 250 pieces world wide with each serial number hand-signed by David himself.
