The Fender Custom Shop always manage to blow our minds with the incredible designs and attention to detail that they deliver, and this new series of Limited Run Champ amplifiers are no different! There is very little that can compare to a Fender valve amp, with stunning cleans and rich dynamics they have been the players choice for over 60 years. These '57 Custom Champs have been specially custom aged by Master Builders Shawn Greene and Jim Dolmage and have been designed to their own virtual back story!
This one is the "She Barely Missed Me" model, a well-loved amp, it features several bullets holes as a result of a domestic dispute!
Tonally, the instantly recognisable Fender vibe comes courtesy of Fender Vintage yellow tone capacitors. Specifically chosen for their authentic vintage sound, they add extra harmonic content and deliver the true old school Fender vibe. Housed in an upsized solid Pine cabinet, this all hand wound masterpiece features a custom made 10" Celestion G10 speaker, its' super responsive with incredible clarity. With 2x12AX7 preamp tubes, a 6V6 power tube and a 5Y3 rectifier, this kicks out all the delicious tone you could ever want!
Covered in the timeless Tweed finish the '57 Champ has been custom aged down to the finest detail, its distinct wear patterns really delivering an authentic vintage feel.
