The Taylor 814e Koa-SB Sunburst Top is identical in its construction to the natural top Koa model, featuring figured Hawaiian koa back and sides and a torrefied Sitka spruce top. However, the addition of a sunburst finish gives this guitar a distinct visual appeal, evoking the classic aesthetics of vintage instruments.
Like its natural top counterpart, the 814e Koa-SB offers a bright, focused tone that matures over time, becoming richer and warmer. The torrefied Sitka spruce enhances the guitar's responsiveness and projection. The Super Auditorium body shape, Fanned V-Class bracing, and long-tenon neck joint work together to create a powerful, resonant sound with exceptional clarity and sustain.
