Back in '87 Music Man released a bass that would become an instant classic, the Music Man StingRay5. The Sterling by Music Man StingRay 5 brings that same magic but at a much lower price point.
With a lush Mahogany body finished in majestic Black, this StingRay looks a million dollars. 5 strings always carry a bit of weight but this StingRay is really nicely balanced and with an average weight of around 10lbs isn't offensively heavy.
The Roasted Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard is a joy to play, with a 34" scale length and 12" radius it feels comfortable underhand and so smooth. It's a real players bass this one, really natural and it delivers at both ends of the fretboard, whether you are kicking out monster riffs or experimenting on the treble side, the Sterling StingRay5 will knock it out of the park.
