The Strat-O-Sonic is back! Originally released in the early 2000s it brings several satisfying ingredients to the Stratocaster recipe for a truly special Squier!
The Okoume body is super rich and resonant. It’s extremely punchy whilst still retaining a full sounding bottom end. Finished in a vibrant Crimson red it certainly looks and sounds the part. The body also features a unique 3-ply black pickguard.
With an ergonomically designed “C” shaped Maple neck the Strat-O-Sonic feels great underhand and allows for quick and precise movements. The Laurel fingerboard features a flat 12” radius alongside 22 frets, dot inlays and a slightly shorter 24.75” scale length.
The crowning feature of the Strat-O-Sonic is a pai of fender designed Alnico Soapboar single-coils. They offer an extremely unique tonal palette and thanks to the 3-way switching and push/pull controls the sounds are seemingly endless!
With a wraparound bridge and vintage-style tuners this instrument is a perfect addition to your collection.
