The Seymour Duncan SHPR-1b P-Rails pickup is a truly unique and versatile addition to your guitar setup. These pickups blend the power of a Hot Rails coil with the warmth of a Vintage P90, offering you an unparalleled range of tones.
In the past, to access the distinct sounds of humbuckers, P90s, and Stratocasters, you'd need three separate guitars. However, the P-Rails humbucker changes the game by encompassing all three of these iconic tones in one convenient package. It seamlessly replaces any standard-sized humbucker, making the upgrade hassle-free. Using a simple 3-way mini-switch (on-off-on), you can effortlessly switch between three modes. Splitting the humbucker delivers an authentic vintage P90 tone, while splitting to the Rail coil provides that classic Stratocaster sound. Engaging both coils simultaneously produces a powerful humbucker tone with a robust punch.
Crafted by hand in Santa Barbara, CA, each P-Rails pickup is meticulously assembled. It incorporates a pair of alnico 5 bar magnets, features a 4-conductor lead wire to accommodate various wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for quiet, squeal-free performance.
