Reverend Guitars began life in an East Detroit garage back in '97 and they haven't looked back! Delivering unique designs with a real retro flavour, Reverend have an artist roster to rival any. Counting Billy Corgan, Reeves Gabrels, Dan Auerbach, Mark Knopfler and our good friend Greg Koch among their artists, Reverend Guitars are Korean manufactured and meticulously set up in house at Reverend HQ, Toledo, Ohio.
The Thundergun is a mega take on the classic rock bass. Built for comfort, smooth tone and a downright monstrous low end bark, you won't find many that can compete at this price point! Featuring a Solid Korina body, this unique design allows for maximum bite with a rich, resonant and dynamic tone.
The 5-piece Korina/Walnut neck boasts a dual action truss rod, medium oval profile and a 12" radius; it's supremely comfortable and offers a great playing experience right up the neck. The Blackwood Tek fingerboard looks great and really plays in with the imposing aesthetic of this bass. Whether you want to lay down some big bass riffs or tear up the fretboard, the Thundergun is fully equipped to deliver.
Reverend design their own range of Custom pickups and the Thundergun benefits from a Thick Brick bridge and a Split Brick neck pickup. With strong lows, warm mids and a crisp treble, these are a well-balanced and versatile selection.
