The PRS Hollowbody II is a powerhouse - capable of covering anything from jazz to blues to rock to pop! With the elegantly Figured Maple Carved top and back with Mahogany sides, this guitar has extraordinary resonance and tonal clarity.
The Rosewood fingerboard atop a Mahogany Pattern neck is adorned with the iconic PRS Bird inlays along its 22 frets and 25" scale length.
On the magnetic side, the Hollowbody is loaded with a pair of PRS 57/08 Alnico 2 humbuckers. The medium output, even tone, and responsive dynamics of these vintage '50s inspired pickups make them really versatile - able to hit the front of an amp heavy with a boost pedal or crisp cleans from just rolling off the volume control.
On the Piezo side, the Hollowbody II features the LR Baggs/PRS Piezo System as standard, offering musicians the flexibility to switch between acoustic and electric guitar tones within one instrument. With dual output jacks, players can connect to their preferred electric or acoustic amplifiers or directly input into a soundboard. The guitar's 57/08 pickups and acoustic sounds can be seamlessly blended using the dedicated blend control, resulting in a versatile single output.
Finally we have the PRS Piezo Stoptail and PRS Phase III Locking Tuners holding up impeccable sustain, intonation, and super fast string changes.
Please Note: This guitar is Pre-Owned but is in Very Good condition with only slight wear to the hardware's finish - it has kept up brilliantly in its playing journey since 2013 and has also been signed by Paul Reed Smith himself!
