Mythos Pedals Oracle | Analog Echo
A Dealy Pedal That Feels Right To Set & Sounds Beautiful
A beautifully voiced delay that is dark without being swampy and dull. A lot of effort went in to making the controls on this feel super intuitive in regards to the settings. The knobs taper just where it feels they should, so you can set the volume just right in front of a pushed amp, without being right at the start of the dial hoping it won't distort! From slapback to ambient, it really is a lot of fun.
Designed by John Snyder of Electronic Audio Experiments (a cool brand in their own right), this awesome delay is easy to use, voiced great and features the modern edition of tap tempo. What's not to love? We love it!
The Oracle is an analogue delay that pays homage to some of the vintage Japanese delays but isn't based on anything specifically other than the sound in the heads of the designers. It sounds gorgeous and is really fun to play around with. We put a light overdrive pedal in front of it and set the dials to around midnight and it filled in the sound with loads of lovely ambience that wasn't overwhelming. Really cool delay. It's built around two V3205 chips, reissues of the MN3205 and features true-bypass. Plus the finish is a beautiful colour. Happy days, days, days, days.
