The Music Man Axis is a turbo charged powerhouse; it's a serious guitar for serious players. A long-time favourite of session players, the Axis delivers superb playability with unrivalled tone and precision.
Featuring a Basswood body with a bookmatched figured Maple top, beautifully stained in Yucatan Blue it looks super slick and has an awesome aesthetic. Thanks to the nature of Basswood this Axis is lightweight whilst retaining incredible sustain.
With a Roasted Maple neck you can expect incredible stability and tonality, finished with Gunstock oil and a hand-rubbed special wax blend, it's super smooth and easy to navigate. Paired up with an equally stunning Figured Roasted Maple fingerboard, adorned with 22 High Profile frets, a 10" radius and dot inlays.
The iconic and versatile Axis tone comes curtosy of a pair of DiMarzio custom humbucking pickups and a 3-way selector, this set is perfect for hard edge rock tones but also delivers a subtle dynamic response at lower volume levels when needed. Finished off with a Music Man double locking tremolo and Schaller M6LA you can expect incredible stability.
