This exquisite instrument is meticulously handcrafted, where artisanal expertise blends seamlessly with cutting-edge technology. Its body, an Auditorium 000 with a 14-fret body join, showcases a Sitka Spruce top, treated with the Vintage Tone System (VTS Premium) to enhance its tonal qualities. The back features East Indian Rosewood with a striking Flamed Pacific Big Leaf Maple centre wedge, while the sides are crafted from East Indian Rosewood. The top and back bracing employs Sitka Spruce for added resonance.
The aesthetic details are equally impressive, with European Flamed Maple binding, an ICA Polished Lacquer finish, and a faux Tortoise pickguard. The neck is made from Genuine Mahogany, boasting a Mod Low Oval shape with a PA Taper for comfortable playability and finished in a Sheen Satin, providing a smooth feel. The fingerboard, crafted from Black Ebony, features a 16" radius for ease of play whilst he bridge, also in Black Ebony, complements the overall design.
Martin pays attention to every detail, including the scale length of 25.340" and a Bone nut and Compensated Bone saddle for precise intonation. The tuning stability is ensured by Grover StaTite 18:1 Vintage Button Tuners, while subtle MOP Dots serve as elegant fingerboard inlays.
