Mad Professor Dual Blue Delay Custom (Limited Edition)

Mad Professor pedals, designed by pedal Wizard Bjorn Juhl are constructed in Finland by a skilled team of engineers, Mad Professor pedals are available in both PCB and hand wired variants and deliver monster tone for a really competitive price. Built with the intention to interact flawlessly with each other, you can create some simply stunning soundscapes with these beauts.

This Limited Edition version features several often requested mods, including: SHORT side is now made to replicate exactly the sound of the world famous Deep Blue Delay. Matt Schofield fans can now dial in his famous slap back, room emulating, always-ON echo. And you can even set the SHORT side darker than Deep Blue Delay if you will. Then some bass frequencies were lowered from the LONG side (effect only)and you can now set the delay level high without the fear of overwhelming delay.

Lastly: in the original version we have two slightly different sounding versions of the same multi head configuration to choose from, as for the multi head delay. These are influenced by old vintage tape units. Now in the Custom Series Dual Blue Delay with Deep mod, one of the multi head sounds is replaced by a new multi head configuration inspired by Echorec position 7 sound which is used by David Gilmour and Hank Marvin for example. This is set as a default and the original version multi head tape type delay is selectable.

Rich, fat, warm sound and well thought out functionality make the Mad Professor Dual Blue Delay one of the most clever, intuitive, and easy to use delay pedals currently available.

The short delay has a maximum delay time of 315ms and a fatter tone well suited for slapback and old-school tape echo tones. Long delay reaches 810ms and has a modern delay voicing, great for lead and ambient tones.

Both delays have wide range Tone controls for dialling in the perfect setting. Switch between the two delay channels or combine both together for huge dual-delay sounds. Keeping the On/Off switch depressed for 1 second brings you an exciting rhythmic multi-head mode. A must-have for all instrumental rock and Pink Floyd fans, tap Tempo function is also included for use on the Long delay channel.
