The F-32 12th Fret model stands out amongst its peers with its unique features and exceptional sound. While maintaining the same scale length as the regular 14-fret F model, it distinguishes itself with a relocated bridge. This placement ensures the loudest, most open, and powerful sound imaginable. Additionally, the 12-fret join design brings everything closer to your body, offering enhanced comfort and reduced pressure on the wrist and hand during extended playing sessions.
The F-32 has gained a well-deserved reputation for its full-bodied and distinctly defined tone. This is attributed, in part, to the sitka spruce top that perfectly balances the warm fullness of the East Indian rosewood back and sides. The result is a harmonious blend of rich low-end response and sparkling highs. The F version of the F-32 12th Fret model is particularly suited for flat-picking and fingerstyle playing, thanks to its warm, full, and clear sound with focused projection.
The F shape, originally designed in 1982 and further refined in 2003, showcases a smaller soundbox geometry that delivers exceptional projection and midrange response. This makes it a favourite amongst flatpickers, but its versatility has also made it a cherished choice for fingerstyle players and blues guitarists alike. The soundbox geometry and bracing are carefully crafted to maintain a balanced tonal bias, favouring neither treble nor bass.
The 5-piece mahogany and rosewood neck, along with the ebony fingerboard, provide a comfortable and smooth playing experience.
