In 1974, George Lowden set out to create guitars that would be cherished by musicians for generations. Fifty years later, Lowden Guitars has become synonymous with exceptional quality, innovative design, and timeless beauty. To commemorate this milestone, Lowden has unveiled the 50th Anniversary Collection, featuring a limited selection of 150 exclusive guitars from the Master Series, 50, 35, and Original Series. Amongst these, the F-35 model emerges as a highlight, representing the pinnacle of Lowden's dedication to excellence.

The F model, which debuted in 1982 and was redesigned in 2003, is celebrated for its versatility. The smaller soundbox shape of the F-35 provides enhanced projection and midrange response, making it an ideal choice for flatpickers. Its balanced soundbox geometry and bracing ensure a flat tonal bias, offering a harmonious blend of treble and bass that appeals to a wide range of playing styles, from fingerstyle to blues.

• Back and Sides: The F-35 is crafted from AAAA East Indian Rosewood, a wood revered for its rich tonal qualities and stunning visual appeal. This wood provides a deep, resonant sound with clear articulation, making it a favourite amongst guitarists who seek both beauty and performance.
• Soundboard: The top of the F-35 features AAAA Lutz Spruce, known for its robust and dynamic tonal properties. Lutz Spruce combines the best characteristics of Sitka and White Spruce, offering a powerful yet balanced sound that enhances the guitar's overall tonal spectrum.

The neck of the F-35 is constructed from a 5-piece combination of mahogany and rosewood, ensuring durability and enhanced tonal transfer. The ebony fingerboard, complemented by maple bindings, provides a smooth and responsive playing surface. The GL standard neck profile, measuring 45mm at the nut and 57mm at the 14th fret, is designed for optimal comfort and playability.

• Binding and Purflings: The guitar is elegantly adorned with figured maple binding and purflings made from mahogany, rocklite, and maple, adding a touch of sophistication to its design.
