These are really killer guitars. Both the OM-40 (mahogany) and this OM-40R (rosewood) represent the Larrivee tone perfectly and look great in their satin finish, perfect for those prefer the more subtle look over that of a glossy finish. Larrivee's voicing and looks are unique to them and their instruments are consistently fantastic.

This guitar features Larrivee's 'Scalloped Parabolic Hybrid' bracing design. They blended a non-symmetrical scalloped lateral cross-bracing pattern with their tried and true balanced X-Brace system. This means maximum strength using the least amount of material. It's a build that allows even further vibration of the soundboard, while still offering a controlled dynamic bass response.

Like all Larrivee's, this beauty is built in America using all-solid woods and features brand new upgrades like bone nut and saddle, diamond fingerboard dots, and 18:1 open-back tuners. Larrivee's revolutionary new bracing design means a robust and unique tone that is sure to appeal to traditional and long-time Larrivee players alike.
