Our Good friends at KingTone are industry leaders, delivering stage conquering tone to a wide audience. Established in '99 by esteemed guitarist Jesse Davey, King Tone set out on a mission to deliver a playing experience unlike no other.
The RISE takes the germanium treble booster out of the past and into the present with its latest reimagining. This pedal has an amazing range of sounds and functions as a clean boost, an overdrive, or a fuzz - and everything in between - with easily accessible and highly versatile controls.
Utilise the Drive and Volume controls to easily overdrive tube amps to the max and obtain smooth and creamy saturation. The Tone control lets you sculpt your sound further - softening fuzz or brightening cleans - with its cut and active boost.
The Glass control adds more versatility to this pedal's tonal array and lets you take it from fuzz to bright glassy clean tones all the way to the edge of breakup. This can be further enhanced by the glass/edge dipswitch on the side. KingTone also included in this pedal the ability to choose between germanium and silicon diodes so that users can take advantage of each transistor's unique characteristics. The Rise also includes a 3-way voicing switch which essentially lets you choose which mode you want to emphasise - full on Fuzz, classic Overdrive, or Vintage which is based on the authentic germanium treble boosters of the past.
Handmade in California with premium components, this pedal is housed in a custom KingTone CNC Aluminium chassis with laser engraved design for a robust and long-lasting pedal that will stand the test of time and the rigours of the road.
