Heavily inspired by iconic players such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, BB King his playing has become stuff of legend. After a career playing with Joe Bonamassa and session work with James Arthur, Ed Sheeran and Lana Del Ray, Mckeon received the call up to work with iconic musician Sir Tom Jones, a position he holds to his day. McKeon's tone has been envied for decades and now we are super excited to announce you too can now experience some of the secret tone sauce through the brand new Scott Mckeon signature fuzz pedal.
The SM fuzz is a truly hand build boutique fuzz pedal, using carefully selected and hand biased ac128 germanium transistors to deliver the finest tone, paired up with the hand wired circuitry and you have a combination made in heaven. McKeon's tone is incredibly versatile and this new fuzz pedal can cover all possibilities, going from a full fat tone with tones of saturation, right down to a TS style overdrive with only the lightest touch of the volume and fuzz controls. If your after that classic McKeon tone then by having the volume cranked up high and about 3/4 on the fuzz then your sure to nail that sound your craving.
The super awesome on/off switch is a great feature, completely eliminating the need to unplug and risk misplacing the pedal. To utilise this feature simply turn the volume control until it clicks off, meaning you can leaving this pedal plugged in and mounted to a pedal board with no issues. The SM Fuzz pedal is a positive ground design, meaning it must be used with an isolated power supply.
