Its time to jump aboard the crazy train career of legendary guitarist Randy Rhoads. A founding member of Californian metal band "Quiet Riot" and most commonly known as the original guitarist for "Ozzy Osbourne". Riffs poured out of this mans fingers and even now he is regarded as one of the greatest to touch the instrument. Jackson's first customer was Randy, who asked them to create a model that met the demands of his technically challenging playing with visual panache. The result continues to evolve, meeting the needs of players who came of age listening to his groundbreaking work.
The Pro RR is constructed with a resonant Mahogany body. This gives you incredible sustain and the guitar really screams. With a one piece through body maple neck bearing a pair of graphite rods for reinforcement, topped with a lush Ebony fingerboard that rocks the classic Alumiloid Sharkfin inlays. With a 12"-16" radius, 22 jumbo frets and easy access to the higher frets, this guitar is a real dream to play.
With a guitar like this you need a pickup pairing that can do it justice. Loaded With a Seymour Duncan SH-6 in the bridge and an SH-6N in the neck, these pickups are beautifully articulate allowing for glassy cleans and screaming leads. with a 3-way switch and Master Volume and Tone you can really sculpt your tone.
Fitted with a Floyd Rose 1000 Series Trem system and Jackson Die-Cast tuners you can be certain of great tuning stability and intonation. For all you classic metal fans, this is for you.
