The YY10 is the first signature guitar model for Yvette Young, frontwoman of the American math rock band Covet. Young is just the second female artist with a signature Ibanez guitar, joining Nita Strauss.
The YY10 features an alder Talman body bolted to a U-shaped maple neck with a 22-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include a vintage-style six-screw Wilkinson WV6-SB, a set of three Seymour Duncan Five-Two single coil pickups mounted in a white pickguard, a bone nut, and Gotoh locking tuning machines.
The neck style was renamed from U to YY in 2021, but the dimensions are unchanged.
The guitar comes with a set of decals designed by Young and strung ready for one her of favourite tunings - FACGBE.

The Maple neck provides stability and bright tonal character.
Seymour Duncan Five Two pickups
Seymour Duncan Five Two pickups features a combination of alnico 2 and 5 rod magnets custom positioned for sweet highs and tight lows.
Wilkinson WV6-SB tremolo bridge
By utilising the unique Wilkinson "5+1" knife-edges, Wilkinson WV6-SB tremolo bridge offers the unsurpassed "tone transfer" of a 6-screw pivot system with the smooth fulcrum action of a 2 pivot set-up.
Luminescent side dot inlays
The luminescent side dot position marks make it easy for players to see fretboard position marks when performing on dark stages.
Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads
The Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads achieve incredible tuning stability, cutting down string-changing time.
