Kurt Cobain is perhaps one of the most iconic and legendary guitarists of all time, few artists in music history can be credited with changing the industry nearly overnight and continuing to influence music culture three decades after the height of Nirvana's fame.
Although Kurt was known for his iconic performances rocking Jaguar's and Mustang's on the "Nevermind" tour and "Smells Like Teen Spirit" the Jag-Stang combines Kurt's favourite elements of both instruments.
The unique Alder body is beautifully finished in a gloss Sonic Blue with a custom pearloid pickguard. This guitar demands your attention and thanks to the sweet aesthetic design it most certainly does.
A Rosewood fingerboard sits atop a Slim "C" Maple neck, allowing for quick and easy movements across the neck. The fingerboard is also adorned with a 7.25" radius, 22 frets and a 40mm nut width.
Classic Cobain tones are delivered by a Jag-Stang Humbucking bridge pickup and a Jag-Stang Single-Coil in the neck. This set up is incredibly dynamic and responsive and with the extra phase controls you can really sculpt this guitar to taste.
