The Standard series incorporates all the staples the Ibanez brand is famous for, such as fast necks and high-octane distortion in a package that is available and accessible to most players.
The RGA42HP features a sculpted nyatoh body bolted to a roasted maple neck with a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard with offset dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include a pair of direct-mounted DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbucking pickups with gold covers, a coil split toggle, an F106 fixed bridge, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.

The F106 bridge enriches sustain. String height adjustment can be done easily and independently.
Jatoba Fretboard
Jatoba has a reddish brown colour which produces a rich mid range with a crisp high end.
Luminescent side dot inlays
The luminescent side dot position marks make it easy for players to see fretboard position marks when performing on dark stages.
Coil-tap switch
The coil tap switch adds sound and tonal variations for both pickups.
