The AZ242PBG features an American Basswood fitted with a brilliant Poplar Burl top, it looks truly stunning and thanks to the Charcoal Black Burst you can really appreciate the natural figuring on show. It is incredibly well weighted and feels great to play, as every AZ should be!
A Roasted Maple neck delivers a secure and sturdy playing surface and thanks to the AZ Oval C profile you will have no issue moving around the neck, whether its low end riffs or intricate lead playing this guitar has it covers. The Roasted Maple fingerboard is adorned with black dot inlays, 24 Jumbo Stainless Steel frets, a 25.5" Scale Length and a 305mm Radius.
Classic AZ tones come courtesy of Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups which deliver incredible clarity and incredible dynamics whilst retaining excellent power. With a Gotoh T1502 bridge and Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads you can expect to see incredible intonation and no tuning issues, this guitar really does deliver premium quality at a modest price point.
