It's no wonder that Music Man were keen to recruit him to their roster. After several hugely successful versions of his signature Luke guitar, Music Man have released the Sterling Luke. Delivering the same Lukather magic, it's available at a much lower price point.
With a Basswood body with a Flame Maple top Veneer, finished in Blueberry Burst Flame it looks a million dollars. The roasted Maple neck benefits from a Rosewood fingerboard, with a 12" radius, 25.5" scale length and 22 narrow profile frets, it's a super easy player. Perfectly comfortable at both ends of the neck, the Sterling Luke is a real dream to play.
Loaded with a duo of Sterling humbucker pickups, this beaut can dial in all those lush tones that a player as versatile as Lukather requires. With a push/push volume control, you get upto 12dB of additional boost, perfect for leading into a monster solo.
