Ian Thornley is one of our favourite modern guitarists, the main man in Canadian rockers "Big Wreck", he is a long time Suhr endorsee and signature artist.
This guitar combines the fantastic build quality and premium tonal characteristics that Suhr's are already famous for, with Thornley's ideal specs applied to it.
It's a Roasted Alder JM body with a custom Thornley "V" back neck, jumbo stainless steel frets, matching Antigua Burst headstock and a powerhouse HSH pickup configuration with series/parallel switching. Thornley's buckers of choice are the Suhr SSV and SSH+, while a V70 single coil sits in between for ultimate tonal variety.
With a Roasted Maple neck for great stability and sustain and an Indian Rosewood fingerboard with a super sweet satin acrylic urethane finish, this guitar has unreal playability and is super comfortable.
This is one super cool guitar, a worthy signature for one of modern guitars most underrated players.
