With the appearance of a vintage guitar this Custom Shop 72 Telecaster Thinline Heavy Relic model benefits from all the playability and reliability of a brand new one. The lightweight Ash body is finished in a stunning Faded Aged 3-Tone Sunburst, period correct; this finish features a truly authentic relic ageing.
The quartersawn AA Maple neck features a 9.5" radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. The 60 style oval C shape profile, 21 frets and medium tinted back offer a really organic playing experience.
With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar the Custom Shop 72 Thinline needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Fender tone. With a pair of Fender Wide Range Humbuckers, it boasts a versatile and well balanced selection. These humbuckers are clinical and offer supreme tonal variety.
