We played the review guitar and we were really blown away by the sound and playability.
The PRS S2 Series offers the fit, finish, feel, and attention to detail of PRS craftsmanship in a straightforward design. Standing for "Stevensville 2," S2 Series instruments are made at PRS's Maryland shop blending new design elements and manufacturing techniques with practiced quality control and workmanship to create reimagined, fresh guitars that reach a more affordable price for players.
This beautiful example of the S2 range has a rich Mahogany body with a figured Maple top finished in the awesome Fire Red. This finish looks super slick and the body is perfectly weighted and ready for action
The traditional Mahogany neck is fitted with a Rosewood fingerboard which boasts a 25" Scale Length, 24 frets, a Pattern Regular neck shape, and of course Bird inlays. This neck is super comfortable and is easy to navigate!
Loaded with a pair of 85/15 "S" pickups with volume and tone control, a 3-way switch and push/pull options aswell. This S2 is super versatile. Thanks to the PRS Patented trem and low mass locking tuners you can expect great tuning stability!
