During the 1980s, Gibson spent many years updating their already stacked product catalogue with a bunch of new and exciting models, each one designed to cater to the extreme demands of players at the time. One of the most well loved and respected new additions was the extremely eye-catching Gibson Victory! This lesser-known model has long been a cult favourite amongst guitarists who appreciate its distinctive double cutaway design which delivers excellent upper-fret access.

The Gibson Victory begins with a lightweight Mahogany body, its extremely well weighted and feels great to play both sitting down and standing up. With refined body contours alongside a Dark Gold Mist Satin finish, the Victory looks super sleek and modern.
Thanks to the SlimTaper Mahogany neck youll instantly feel right at home. This neck profile allows for quick and easy movements right across the guitar. But dont worry, this guitar neck isnt just designed for shredding, its traditional Gibson roots are certainly there! With a unique 25.5 scale length the Victory provides a slightly longer playing surface, making those lightning-fast solos just a little bit easier. The dark Ebony fingerboard is adorned with 24 frets, a compound radius, acrylic dot inlays and a 1.695 nut width.
The highly flexible electronics include two 80s Tribute humbucker pickups wired to push/pull master volume and tone controls for coil splitting and inner/outer coil selection when the coils are split, which, along with the three-way pickup selector switch, deliver a wide range of humbucking and single coil tonal options with a minimum number of controls. The guitar is finished off with a classic Tune-O-Matic bridge alongside a high quality set of Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners.
