We've all seen the pics of John Mayer playing this guitar and there's been so much gossip around this model, so we're super stoked to see that this collaboration is now official! The Private Stock "Super Eagle" is born out of hours and hours of product design between John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith. The goal of this partnership was to create a highly musical and versatile instrument that John will be able to use no matter which way his musical direction turns. I'm sure there's plenty of Mayer fans out there that would never have imagined him teaming up with the Grateful dead. This guitar can handle all that stuff, as well as John's solo material with ease.
Fully loaded with an incredible spec, which includes an onboard preamp, mini toggle switches for coil tap and special design 58/15 John Mayer pickups.
