The Jiva Ibanez is the new guitar for Alice Cooper sidewoman Nita Strauss. A key part of the Alice Cooper sage show and an incredible talent, Nita Strauss is the first woman to receive a signature line from Ibanez guitars.
For years the S Series has been one of the most recognisable lines in the Ibanez arsenal, delivering hard rockin' metal machines with precision, speed and power. The Ibanez Jiva is something pretty special from this highly regarded line.
With a Mahogany body with a Quilted Maple top, finished in Deep Space Blonde, you not only get crisp looks but rich, tight, natural tone. The ergonomic body shape feels smooth, well balanced and poised for action.
A 3 piece Maple/Purpleheart neck is adorned with a bound Ebony fingerboard with a custom 'Beaten Path' inlay. Inspired by an EKG heart monitor, it's a real distinctive and unique feature. It's designed for speed and precision, perfect for today's metal players.
With a rich history of crushing tones and sweeping solos to live up to, the Jiva is loaded with a trio of DiMarzio pickups. In the traditional HSH configuration, a duo of Nita Strauss signature Pandemonium humbuckers sit either side of a True Velvet and combine to deliver an insane dynamic range and note definition.
