The Gretsch G6136T-59 Limited Edition Pro Falcon is one of those incredible guitars that seamlessly manages to honour its rich heritage whilst pushing forward with modern vision and functionality. Inspired by the Golden Era of Gretsch production, the '50s and '60s, this Pro Falcon is one of Gretsch's rarest birds.
The Maple body is finished in authentic Lake Placid Blue, and with the delicious chrome hardware, it looks every bit the classic Gretsch. The Falcon is often seen in White but this blue is just on another level! The Maple neck has a rich Ebony fingerboard and sports the Pearloid Thumbnail inlays, a real nice vintage touch. With the standard U shape profile and a 12" radius, it's comfortable and really well balanced.
The Dual TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity pickups have incredible response and definition. They have a great dynamic range and really respond to the way you play, slick and subtle one second and roaring the next.
A Bigsby vibrato unit offers great stability and is perfect for all those country, jazz and blues licks. A real stunner, this guitar is a great example of timeless Gretsch design.
