Here's a bit of Canadian Rockabilly swagger for you with the Godin Montreal Premiere Supreme. Godin build truly fantastic guitars and this little beauty is no exception. Drawing inspiration from the classic archtops of the '50s, the Montreal Premiere Supreme is pure Canadian quality.
Inspired by a time when archtops ruled and smoky jazz and delta blues filled the air. Godin have taken the spirit of this golden era and applied it to their modern build methods and playability. Crafted in Canada, the Montreal Premiere features a Figured Flame Maple body, finished in Lightburst, for a real premium aesthetic. Rich and resonant it offers super smooth tones with loads of sustain. The Mahogany set neck boasts a cracking bound Richlite fingerboard, 12" radius and a 24 3/4" scale length. Substantial and really comfortable it offers a really smooth playing surface to build those lush lead lines on. The cutaway provides easy access to those upper frets for even greater possibilities.
With modern appointments such as a Graphtec ResoMax bridge system, it's reliable, easy to play and has an authentically vintage appeal. A pair of Seymour Duncan pickups, a Jazz II at the neck and a Classic at the bridge, delivers presence, clarity and a little bit of delta growl. Whether played acoustically or plugged in, the Montreal Premiere Supreme is a guitar that certainly punches above its weight. With a Deluxe TRIC hardcase it's ready to hit the road!
