Gibson are the kings when it comes to hollowbody guitars, since launching the ES-335 back in the '50's Gibson have been refining and improving hollowbody design. New for 2019 is the incredible Gibson Memphis ES-235, offering stripped back aesthetics but the same classic mojo, this guitar is one not to miss!
Featuring a 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body with a Maple centre block, it's finished in a classic Ebony. Delivering a rich and authentic tone, the ES-235 is super resonant and beautifully balanced; it just oozes that real Gibson mojo.
The neck is crafted from Maple; it features a gorgeous Rosewood fingerboard, embellished with pearloid dot inlays. With 22 medium jumbo frets, a 12" radius and a 24.75" scale length it feels smooth and comfortable, equally at home playing slick lead work or heavy chord strumming.
A pair of BurstBucker Pro humbuckers delivers those classic '60s tones, deep, rich and resonant they offer great clarity.
